This prayer line is operated by the ministry organization named on this site (the "Ministry"), on the Vigil platform. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the prayer line or this website, and how it is used.
When you reach out by text message, WhatsApp, Messenger, or this website, we receive the information you choose to share: your phone number or contact handle, your name if you provide it, an email address if you provide one, and the contents of your messages, including your prayer requests.
Your information is used for one purpose: to receive your prayer requests, pray with you, respond to you personally, and care for you over time. We may also use aggregate, non-identifying statistics (such as total prayers received) to operate and improve the ministry. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your prayer requests for marketing.
Your messages are read by trained members of the Ministry's prayer team and held in confidence. Like any modern service, messages travel through service providers that make delivery possible — including telecommunications carriers, Twilio, Meta Platforms (for WhatsApp and Messenger), and the Vigil platform's hosting infrastructure — which process data on the Ministry's behalf. We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that someone is in imminent danger.
We understand prayer requests are deeply personal and may include sensitive matters of health, family, and faith. By sending a request, you consent to our receiving and holding it for the purposes above. We treat it as confidential before God and this team.
This prayer line is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number. If you are in crisis, we will always share crisis-line resources for your country.
Reply STOP to any text message at any time to stop receiving messages. You may also ask us at any time to delete your information, and we will honor it.
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
